Spring Rejuvenation: A Healing Opportunity for All

Can you feel it!?! Spring is definitely in the air. The crisp mornings, vibrant greenery, elongating daylight, and the optimism that it can all inspire… Its one of our favorite times of year! (Sorry for the teaser if you’re part of our East Coast tribe. It won’t be long now ; )

This spring holds a special significance for us. When we returned to Napa California late last year we were eager to reconnect and provide support for our community in mourning. The fires in early October 2017 affected everyone in the area. Anxiety, loss, prolonged stress, sleepless nights… Our hearts go out to those whose paths were forever altered because of their personal experience.

There was also a deep ache within us to reconjoin with the land we love so well. It was hard to be completely clear as to what we would find when we returned to our cherished open spaces in Napa & Sonoma counties.

We were among the first to visit our neighborhood stomping grounds, Skyline Wilderness Park, when it re-opened this winter. With each turn of our hike we studied the landscape to look for signs of the fire that had raged through. And there it was: an entire hillscape that had been home to some of the most beautiful manzanitas in the park was now charred black and rendered unfamiliar. It felt like we were on a different planet!

Our first reaction was that of grief but then we took a closer look. Peaking out of the black soil were numerous vibrant green shoots: brand new plants coming through the scorched earth! Though many of the manzanita burned completely there were some that were obviously singed along their bottom half but somehow managed to muster up the energy to go into full bloom on top! Even the completely charred trees had a new kind of beauty frozen in time.

A powerful message came from our experience that day: inspiration may lay just outside our front door. The earth renews itself in astonishing ways, just as our bodies have the capacity for rejuvenation. Billions of our cells die every day and are replaced with new healthy cells, that is if we provide the vital, raw materials from REAL food to do the job.

In our mission to make holistic health information available to EVERYONE, especially those who have been affected by traumas like the October fires, we were inspired to create Spring Rejuvenation. This interactive, community building e-course provides an opportunity to tap in to the budding energy of the season to reclaim our vitality together! Let’s take a step-by-step approach to helping our bodies regenerate in a healthy, sustainable way so that common, post winter & stress related symptoms like fatigue, brain fog, digestive distress, headaches, possible weight gain, and impending allergies give way to newfound energy & optimism!

You can participate in this e-course from anywhere in the world as long as you have access to a computer, smart-phone, or tablet (oh, and an internet connection would help too ; )

Share this opportunity with anyone you would like to invite along on this Journey to Wellness! We all deserve to feel our best!
